ClickUp MCP
Official hosted server for ClickUp tasks, Docs and Chat over OAuth
Last verified: September 13, 2026
About ClickUp MCP
ClickUp runs its own hosted MCP endpoint at mcp.clickup.com, available in public beta on every plan and authorised through OAuth rather than an API key pasted into a config file. Connected agents can read and act on tasks, Docs and Chat, which covers most of what a project manager actually does inside ClickUp. Being remote and first-party, it avoids the version drift that affects community-maintained project management servers.
ClickUp MCP is a Productivity MCP server designed for individual operators, founders, and small teams. It enables letting AI assistants act inside your notes, tasks, and calendar by exposing CRUD operations on your productivity stack as MCP tools. Key capabilities include task, note, and calendar reads, create, update, and complete operations, workspace and project scoping, and structured tool calls that work cleanly inside an LLM context. It integrates with Notion, Linear, Todoist, Google Calendar, Obsidian, Asana, and ClickUp, and is best suited for individual operators, founders, and small teams who need daily planning and triage.

Because it is remote and OAuth-based there is nothing to install, which makes it the easiest project-management server to try. Public beta, so expect the tool surface to keep changing.
