About FastMCP
FastMCP is the standard Python framework for authoring MCP servers, with an SDK design borrowed from FastAPI: decorate a function, get a tool. It handles the protocol plumbing — transports, schema generation from type hints, lifecycle and auth — so a working server is usually a few dozen lines.
