Atlassian's officially maintained remote MCP server (Rovo MCP) gives AI assistants secure, real-time access to Jira issues, Confluence pages, Jira Service Management tickets, Bitbucket repositories and Compass components. It authenticates via OAuth 2.1 or API tokens and respects existing Atlassian permissions, so an agent only ever sees what the connected user can see. Because it is vendor-hosted there is nothing to install or keep updated locally.
